What is the ruin bar crawl in Budapest?
It’s a guided night out through the city’s famous Romkocsma neighborhood. That is, bars created inside old buildings and reused urban spaces (District VII). You’ll be part of a group that moves with a guide. Throughout the way, you’ll sample free shots and easy peasy social interactions until the end of the tour, which is a club where you can dance all your problems away.
Do people go clubbing on Halloween?
Yep. Halloween is not an old Hungarian tradition, as it is not in any part of the world, but if you ask a gen z, it’s a historical celebration of trick or treating . For nightlife, District VII is as always the natural go-to place: ruin bars are already enchanted all year long and clubs usually get a once a year window of super fun.
